Case Managers training
To enhance fair and effective service delivery across Ika South communities, a detailed training program was organized to equip case managers with the necessary skills and knowledge for assisting vulnerable households. Led by Program Manager Mr. Timothy, with support from several program officers, the session provided comprehensive guidance on community engagement and best practices.
The training aimed to empower case managers with a deeper understanding of how to assess and respond to the specific needs of each household. Through practical exercises and discussions, participants learned methods for conducting needs assessments, coordinating resources, and building trust with local families. Emphasis was placed on key interpersonal skills like empathy, active listening, and cultural awareness, which are crucial for creating respectful and supportive connections with community members. By enhancing the abilities of its case managers, the organization is working to improve the impact and reach of its programs, ensuring that resources are directed to those most in need in Ika South. This training effort reflects the organization’s commitment to addressing local challenges through a knowledgeable, compassionate team.
