Development project for Voluntary Counseling and Testing program.

This development project focused on the Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) of over One thousand Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) in Delta State, Nigeria.This project was funded by World Bank through Delta State Action Committee on AIDS (SACA).

Key Achievements 


Nine Orphans and Vulnerable Children tested positive out of a total of 1,017 Orphans and Vulnerable Children tested in Delta State, Nigeria. This gives a prevalence rate of 0.89%.

The result of this project has provided data on the prevalence rate of HIV/AIDS among Orphans and Vulnerable Children which was previously not available.
